Founded by Mr.Kazuho Fukuda in 1974 as Harp Manufacturing. The current brand, Raijin, was launched by his son Osamu in 1987. The motto of bicycle making is 'fun to ride and look at'. The company naturally works with traditional lugged frames, but prefers and specialises in lugless frames, which offer greater freedom in frame design, perhaps due to their experience in making such frames since the early days of MTB in the 1980s. He is good at taking orders for all types of vehicles, from road bikes to MTBs, small bikes and touring bikes. The workshop is happy to take on time-consuming orders for complex frame shapes and special work, making it a great place for enthusiasts. The company also produces frames on an OEM basis, including KINFOLK, a custom frame brand born from a collaboration between North American and Japanese cyclists.
